Susan Dean, CASI Terlingua Champion 2008, and her husband Alan Dean, Men's State Champion 2010, will be cooking up complimentary chili samples and sharing info about how CASI raises monies for charities through its Chili Cook-offs.

As the summer winds down and fall is on the horizon, it's the perfect time to relax and enjoy it all with an afternoon at Becker Vineyards for Rambling Rosé. Attendees of this event return year after year for the opportunity to sample some wonderful rosé wines, including the one from Becker Vineyards. Experience the wines through a blind tasting with a panel of experts that will help guide you through a palate of flavors. It's an event that's both educational and tasty!

14th Annual Grape Stomp
Date: Aug. 28, 29 & Sept. 4, 5
Time: Saturdays 10 a.m. -- 6 p.m.
& Sundays Noon -- 6 p.m.
Fee: Complimentary
Grape Stomp T-Shirts: $15 each
"Stomp me, crush me, make me wine!" will be the battle cry! Barrels will be cut in half and filled with grapes for the public to stomp. Some people like to purchase souvenir shirts and place their "stomp" prints on the back!
People are welcome to bring a picnic and put a picnic blanket under the trees. Children are welcome to participate and must be accompanied by their parents.
Concessions: Fired Up will have hand made pizzas to cook in their wood oven for sale. Becker Vineyards will also have artisan cheeses and crackers for sale in the Tasting Room.

6th Annual Lucy & The Italian Woman Costume Contest
Date: Sunday, Sept. 5
Time: 3 p.m.
Fee: Complimentary
Participate in the Contest! Contestants for the Lucy and The Italian Woman Costume Contest are judged on three criteria: 1) costume, 2) grape stomping ability, and 3) enthusiasm. There is no fee to participate. First, Second, and Third Place prizes will be awarded.
