This Petite Sirah exclusively grown in the Texas Hill Country, harvested from Becker Estate and Tallent Vineyards, plus a little Counoise from the Farmhouse Vineyards of West Texas brings a tapestry of layers for a big wine. On the nose and palate; very bold and rich new leather, it begs for attention and rich, fatty foods.
Aging Petite Sirah in predominately American, neutral oak barrels allows the fruit to shine and the tannins to soften. This wine opens with an extravagance of leather and fresh florals. Ripe dark fruits, medium tannins, with a smoky mesquite balance, leading to a lush, lingering finish.
 
Aromatics: Rich blueberries, figs, cacao, new leather, cardamom, toasted coconut, and fresh cut violets
 
On the Palate: Blueberry Jam, espresso, sweet tobacco, medium tannins and black herbal tea.
