Ranger Hays 2020

Our new vintage of Ranger Hays is packed with aromas of plum, fresh jam and anise. This specific vintage has excellently integrated tannins and a tart finish, bringing a refreshing edge to the wine.
Ranger John C. “Jack” Hays first surveyed what is now known as Becker Vineyards in the mid-1800's. Later, he made his profession as a Texas Ranger, renowned for his efforts settling the Texas frontier. The artwork depicts his famous stand-off against a Comanche War Party, at nearby Enchanted Rock. Malbec, Tannat, and Petit Verdot create the dark fruit backbone, creating a wine as captivating as its inspiration.
Food Pairing Notes: Bison, Smoked Pulled Pork, Manchego cheese

Have only had the 2018 vintage of this wine but it was outstanding. Will send a review of this once we open/drink it. Thank you Becker Vineyards, as you've been producing some high quality and interesting wines for some time now.
